Hookah Tidbits

City of Anaheim spokesman John Nicoletti recently discussed the legal loopholes that allow hookah cafe patrons to smoke indoors.

Nicoletti said a hookah cafe cannot have prepared food or live entertainment, unless a city grant permit is obtained. The cafe must have less than five employees and it's main function must be for hookah smoke, rather than a restaurant.

Nicoletti added that the cafe must maintain a certain distance from surrounding schools.
